A diet that’s made up of high quality protein is essential for your dog. It ensures they have enough energy and provides them with the essential amino acids they need and can’t produce naturally to stay fit and healthy. Amino acids are the building blocks of life. They’re vital for making sure the body functions properly. Whether it’s boosting their immune system, building and repairing muscle and cartilage, or producing and balancing hormones, meals with plenty of protein are a must. With a blend of meat and fish, this raw meal also adds variety to their menu, which not only benefits their health, but means they get excited for meal time too.
These meals also include fresh vegetables. Sourced from farms that you’d get your own produce from, these veggies are rotated seasonally to keep things fresh, and provide that all-important vitamin boost, veg also provides soluble fibre which aids better digestion and improves overall gut health. You’ll also find a selection of hand-picked berries too, providing vitamins and antioxidants. This brings us to the superfoods. So called because of their high levels of beneficial nutrients, these ingredients support their health from the inside out. A sprinkling of organic spirulina boosts their immune system, ground ginger brings anti-inflammatory properties and is great for heart health too, while a little black pepper and turmeric works to improve their digestive health. For a final flourish and to ensure a balanced diet, we also add harvested kelp and a healthy olive oil blend. These healthy, omega rich fats provide energy, assist the normal development and function of cells, tissue muscles and nerves. Plus, these oils are also the secret behind a glossy coat and reduced shedding too.

Feeding Guide: As a general rule we recommend an adult dog should eat between 2 to 3% of their body weight per day, for example an adult dog weighing 10kg may require 200g to 300g per day. Puppies will need between 5 to 10% of their body weight per day, depending on their age. This is a great guide to use as a starting point, which you can then adapt in line with your dog's individual requirements.
Extra considerations
Some dogs may require more food at certain times of year for example, they may require more in winter due to being more active in the colder months and less in the summer months. Dogs may require food intake to increase on days they are particularly active and reduce on quieter days. The amount that your individual dog needs each day may vary depending on their energy levels, amount of exercise they get, their individual metabolism, stress levels, health status and so on.
Storage
To defrost, leave one meal in the bottom drawer of your fridge for 24 hours before your pet is ready to dig in. When feeding your pet a raw food diet, it’s important that you adhere to the same hygiene practices as you would when preparing food for anyone else in your family, thoroughly cleaning any surfaces, utensils and pet bowls after each use. The packaging is sustainable and 100% recyclable.
